Tom’s heart is to make Jesus famous
wherever he goes. The following messages are samples of topics he
has taught at church, retreats, seminars, and in leadership training
workshops. In addition, Tom enjoys developing new material to fit
the theme of a conference or retreat at which he is asked to share.
Known for his humor, adherence to scriptural truth, and wonderful
illustrations, Tom’s messages are life changing. Pleasure,
Fun and the Nature of God: Does God have a fun side
to His personality? Do you tend to compartmentalize your spiritual
life as separate from your secular activities? Can people become
too grave, somber and overly serious in their Christian walk? This
teaching investigates pleasure and God’s enjoyment in promoting
it. Plan to laugh and appreciate God’s awesome nature as
Tom explains the reasons for pleasure. Be set free to enjoy life! What is Intimacy? God is calling each of us to a sacred place
of intimacy with Him. It is within our intimate times with the
Lord that we feel most safe and secure. Intimacy is the place where
love grows and the ability to be who we are is discovered. Four
reasons why we need intimacy with God are shared in this message.
Two messages
by Tom on difficult relationships:
How To Get Along With Difficult People: Grappling with grouches
and problem people? Trying to relate to relatives, nightmare neighbors
and aliens? In this teaching Tom looks at the importance of relationships,
even the difficult ones. Discussed are the areas that mark the
difficult person and the ways that scripture instructs us to relate
to them.
What Do You Say To Attila the Hun?: In this message, Tom explains
how a spirit of control influences the world and can influence
the church. Explored are the meaning, motives and marks of unnatural
control and how to avoid being a controlling person or being controlled
by others. Lastly he discusses how to be controlled by the Holy
Spirit and the influence of servanthood.
Two messages by Tom on freedom in Christ: Legalism 101: Legalism says that to be right with God people must
earn their way by keeping rules & regulations. Legalism is
the opposite of living by grace and relates to God upon the basis
of list keeping, laws and performance. Based on Galatians 2, this
teaching is full of humor, illustrations and practical instruction. What They Never Told
Uncle Maurice: The bondages of toxic beliefs
and joy killing religion are examined in this humorous, but truth
filled message. How grace and the Holy Spirit set us free is emphasized
in practical, life changing illustrations.
Three messages by Tom on growing in spite of difficulties: Strength: If we are to see Jesus made famous in our homes and
communities we need to be people of supernatural strength! God
wants you strong! He has plans for you to be a force for righteousness
as you fulfill the plan and destiny he has for you. Natural and
unnatural weaknesses are examined as Tom explores the reasons for
the strong becoming weak. In the second half of this message, Tom
explains how the weak can become strong. For Mature Audiences Only: Facing hardships and suffering are
the subjects of this teaching as Tom looks at the end times. Will
our Christianity be found to be deep or shallow as we navigate
uncharted waters? This session will help you plan and prepare for
the difficult times that all of us face.
Facing Failure: Failure is the unpardonable sin in America. We
reject losers and we adore winners. Obviously no one wants to be
a failure, yet we all experience it. Condemnation often tags along
with failure, especially when our failures are so often public!
In this message, Tom explains what Christ has to say about failing
and the scriptural truth about success.
Four messages by Tom on prayer: 1. God at War: In this message Tom looks at predestination, God’s
foreknowledge, His providence and sovereignty in the context of
spiritual warfare. Thought provoking and instructive, this session
paves the way for the following three messages on spiritual warfare.
2. Petition and Supplication: In the early church prison doors
were opened, fanatical opponents of the church were struck down
and converted, signs and wonders were performed, and the gospel
was spread in answer to the praying church. In this message, Tom
explains petition, supplication, binding and loosing, and the prayer
of faith as foundations for a fervent prayer life.
3. Bearing the Bruises of Battle: Spiritual warfare is real whether
we acknowledge it or not. In Bearing the Bruises of Battle Tom
discusses the reality of the devil and demons. He identifies 19
bruises of the enemy and how the Cross of Jesus Christ is our basis
for any victory in spiritual warfare.
4. Antihistamine: What does
it mean to “resist” the devil and how do we do it? Tom
answers these questions and more as the defeat of Satan is explained
in the light of Calvary.
* "It is a pleasure to give Rev.
Tom Gaddis my highest recommendation for those seeking a guest speaker.
Whether it is a regular church service, leadership seminar, or conference,
Tom will be a blessing to all who come. It was my privilege to serve
under his leadership for two years. I have also traveled with Tom
overseas for pastoral conferences and have witnessed him move in
a strong healing and deliverance anointing. His teaching style,
humor, and ability to move freely with the Holy Spirit is always
a great combination. Tom will contribute to any gathering with his
years of pastoral experience and international travel.”

* "Tom Gaddis has been crafting
sermons/teachings for over twenty five years. Over that time period
he has mastered his craft. Tom combines a deep knowledge and understanding
of scripture with wit and humor. He is skilled in making even the
tough subjects palatable. Tom is able to touch the corporate body,
but at the same time as an individual you feel like he is talking
specifically to you. It's like he's reading your mail."
