This Bible study workbook is not designed for introspection but for Holy Spirit inspection within. When we begin to understand from His Word how God is working in us, we will find delight in seeing how we are changing into His likeness and image.

Motherhood is a high calling that keeps the kingdom of God growing. Without mothers, there would be no folks to occupy heaven’s territory! Having children was God’s way of raising up people to become men and women who would be mighty in His kingdom—both on earth and in eternity future. Motherhood is considered such a high calling that the term “Mother in Israel” in Scripture was given only to women that had demonstrated their spiritual character and leadership over many years. “Mother” is a term that is to be respected.

Our home is our primary mission field. Our children are to experience salvation and discipleship through our parenting. Of course, Sunday School and youth programs are a great support to our families, but they are not designed to replace mothers and fathers as the main spiritual teachers in the young lives of our children. Even when there is no godly father in the home, mothers are well qualified to raise sons and daughters who go on to wreck havoc on the kingdom of darkness. Timothy, a pastor in the New Testament, could point back to his mother and grandmother as the ones who had led him to the Lord and trained him in the ways of God.
